Vacaville, CA - Sept 12, 2021. TNI Racing has been added by Mazda Motorsports in conjunction with the Spec MX-5 Challenge Series presented by Toyo Tires, to their Preferred Race Shop list. This short list of West Coast race shops is for race car builders for the MX-5 Spec series using the Mazda Miata NC  body, 2006 - 2015 chassis.

TNI Racing has been racing the first and second generation Mazdaspeed 3 since 2008 within the United States Touring Car Championships. TNI Racing’s dominant performance in the Sportsman class with the 2006 NC Mazda Miata has caught the attention of Mazda Motorsports, which allowed the team to be considered a race car builder for the new racing series for the Mazda NC Miata.

TNI Racing is hoping to secure a championship win for the Mazda brand at the penultimate event at Buttonwillow this weekend, October 16-17, 2021. The final race at Thunderhill, November 13-14, 2021, will be a grueling 2-hour race should test the build and components for this little car, and solidify our championship goals for this season.

Team owner, Ron Valtierra, has been working with driver, Brad Austin, to develop both car and team to bring this recognition, in the region and abroad with their success, and to share their passion for the Mazda brand.
